Our Inner Court
The Heart and Soul of The Coven of Leaves.
Our Inner Court is the heart of The Coven of Leaves, those who've been initiated into the mysteries of Gardnerian Wicca and who continue their journey through service, as well as those working toward Initiation into the priesthood. We walk together in fellowship and accountability, supporting one another in spiritual growth and in our commitment to the greater good. Some, for reasons of personal and professional safety, have chosen not to share an image of their face.
High Priestex Mortellus
Mortellus is a Priestex of the Third Degree, having earned the rank of both "Lady" and
"Queen." They serve as leader of The Coven of Leaves and on our Board of Directors in the life-long appointment of High Priestex. They can be found in Rutherford County providing compassionate care as a volunteer Hospice Chaplain and providing peer counseling support in collaboration with NAMI South Mountains inter alia.
Priestess Adrija
Adrija is a Priestess of the First Degree, studying for ordination in addition to serving on our Board of Directors as Initiate Liaison. She is a beloved member of the community in the Dalton area of Georgia in addition to serving the community as an accountant.
Priest Hesperus
Hesperus is a Priest of the First Degree, studying for ordination. He is a beloved member of the community in the Minneapolis area of Minnesota in addition to serving the community as an emergency services operator.
High Priestess Dealandé
Dealandé is a Priestess of the Second Degree and a member of the Clergy, studying for her final vows. She serves on our Board of Directors as Augur. She is a beloved member of the community in the Charlotte-Metro area of North Carolina, and services the community as a professional tarot reader.Â
Priest Tettix
Tettix is a Priest of the First Degree, studying for ordination in addition to serving on our Board of Directors as Guardian. He is a beloved member of the community in the Greenville area of South Carolina in addition to serving the community as massage therapist for Healing Touch.
Dedicant Cinder
Cinder is a dedicant to the Outer Court, studying for initiation. She is a beloved member of the community in Southwest Michigan in addition to serving the community as a graduate researcher in sociology, religion, and gender studies.
Priestess Brynalwen
Brynalwen is a Priestess of the First Degree, studying for ordination in addition to serving on our Board of Directors as Guardian. She is a beloved member of the community in the McDowell County area of North Carolina and serves the community as an educator.
Priestess Naiara
Naiara is a Priestess of the First Degree, studying for ordination. She is a beloved member of the community in the Manhattan area of New York in addition to beautifying the community as a makeup artist and executive for Bloomingdales.
Dedicant Via
Via is a dedicant to the Outer Court, studying for initiation. She is a beloved member of the community in the Reno area of Nevada in addition to serving her community in a variety of ways.

the Coven of Leaves after their leaders attained their Third Degree.

Our Court Structure
The Outer Court consists of dedicants preparing to take their Oath and enter the Inner Court, as well as members of the wider community who have chosen to practice their craft as part of The Coven of Leaves. Those interested in joining us are invited to handwrite a letter to The Coven of Leaves, P.O. Box 3036, Rutherfordton, NC 28139, introducing themselves, sharing why they wish to walk this path, and requesting an invitation to attend.
The Inner Court is composed of those serving the priesthood of the tradition. It includes First Degree initiates who have taken their first vows and are preparing for ordination, Second Degree ordained clergy working toward the Third Degree, and Third Degree clergy who have chosen not to hive and instead continue their ministry within the Coven of Leaves.
